Quantumjelly
Manifesto

One senior dev, a lot of tokens, and a stubborn refusal to ship slop.

Quantumjelly is a one-person Australian studio. I think the AI wave is real, mostly good, and being implemented terribly. I'm trying to do it less terribly.

TENET 01

AI writes code. A senior dev writes systems.

Models are wonderful junior devs and terrible architects. They type. I make the decisions.

TENET 02

Boring infrastructure, wild speed.

Postgres in 2026 is still the right answer. So is Stripe. So is sending an email.

TENET 03

Ship in days, not decks.

If you can't see it on a real domain by Friday, the brief was wrong, not the timeline.

TENET 04

Senior review on every PR. Always.

Every line gets eyes from someone who's been doing this for two decades. The robot is supervised.

TENET 05

You own everything.

Code, prompts, infra, customers. I'm a contractor, not a landlord.

TENET 06

Ship it, then sharpen it.

Jellyfish don't plan their route. They pulse, drift, and correct. A working thing in front of users teaches more than a perfect thing in Figma.

The human

One person reviews every line.

No account managers. No offshore hand-off. The same senior dev who scopes the work also writes and reviews the code.

Michael Moriarty
Senior software engineer · founder

20+ years building production software. I've spent decades reviewing other people's PRs at scale. Now reviewing the AI's PRs at scale.

When you hire Quantumjelly you get me — start to finish. No hand-offs, no juniors, no “delivery team.”
